Stock Market.
The Hawera Star says:— Tde sto-k market continues to rule high. At Messrs Nolan, Tonks, and Co.'s Hawera sale on Thursday there was a large yarding of cattle. Buyers were just as eager as they were before the close of the year and a successful sale resulted. Enquiry was keen for 2, 2£ and 3 year old bullocks, and there is no sign of the easier tone, predicted by some a month back, tbat would be experienced for cattle after the New Year.
