I Messrs Gorton aad Bon report: — i Last week we hold a clearing sale of fUx mill plant, etc , at Low»r Bangitikei on aocou-it of Messrs Westwood and Co., on Monday, stock sale at Bulls oq Tnsday, clearing sale of dairy stock at Feilding on account of Mr Siggelkow on Wednesday, and stock sale at Feildiug oa Friday. The flax mill plant and sundries were sold greatly in favor of buyers. At Bulls we had an average yarding of sheep, most of which changed hands at recent values. Mr Biggel* kow's sale was not largely attended, bat most of the cows and sundries realised good prices. At Feilding we had a heavy yarding of fheep of splendid quality, and cattle came forward very greatly in excess of advertised number a. The attendance was larga. All the sheep but one pen of old ewes and two or three pens of wethers were sold under the hammer, and all classes of cattle mat with a ready sale, only a few ha?.d of dairy stock failed to reach vendors' prices. We quote : — At Bulls: Mixed ho^gjts, 8s Gl, 11s 4d, lls 7d ; foxwitd wethers, 14a lid ; empty ewes, 8i 3d ; fat and forward ewes, 12s. Four year*- old draught stallion, 30gs ; 4 -year -old mare, £20. Feilding : Fat and forward bullock-, £6 and £7 8s ; IV.t cows, £6 10i ; 3-year steera, £5 3a, £5 18a, £5 17a 6d ; 2-year steeirn, £4 2* ; yearling steers, £2 10s. £2 16a 6d, £2 17s Gd ; springing hoifars, £3 10 j Gd, £4, £4 2^ Gd, £5 lie, £5 16s ; dairy cows, £3 li)< Gd ti £5 lie; weaners, 21s, 84s 6d, £2.
