THE STOCK MARKET. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, report on their Johnaoilville sale as follows : — Fat cattle in average numbers, sold steadily at from 17s to 18s the lOOlbs, prices ranging from £6 12s 6d to £8; fat cows, £4 13s. Sheep, in moderate numbers, sold irregularly, the demand being principally for prime quality. Jfrime fat ewes in their wool, 15s; others, 13s 3d; prime shorn wethers, 12s 8d to 13s 2d ; in the wool, 15s Id ; prime shorn ewes, lls 6d ; others, 9s to 9a 6d ; fat lambs, 8a to 10s. Pigs were easier. Baconers, 325 ; large porkers, 22s to 23s ; pork pigs, Ids to 20s; weaners, 10s to 12s 3d; small weaners, 6s to 7s 6d.
