Nominations for all Handicaps, including Jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY, 11th DECEMBER, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to for» ward Postal notes and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates and localities of such performances ; the remainder of entrance fee on acceptance, which c«n be made on the round. Other events post entries. Colors must be named on nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in heats. Amatturs must belong to a Club affiliated with the N.Z.A.A. Association, and must produce ticket of membership i from their Club Secretary. All Amateur events will be run under the " New Zealand Amateur Atnletic Association Rules." The Bicycle Eaces will be run under the Rule.-> of the i\ ew Zealand Cyclists Union. The particular attention of competitors jis dravrn to .Rule 25, which reads : — I " Every Competitor must wear complete ! clothing fmm the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeyed to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded fr^m taking part in the Sports." Any competitor found guilty of, sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event to make a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of his des cription of his performances. The Committee may disqualify and competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to mxke the declaration , and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two comperitors in each event or no first prize; three or no second ; four or no .third. Entries will be received and Sports conducted under the printed Rules of the Feilding Athletic Ciub, obtainable from the Secretary, price Is. - Admission to Gates : Adulls Is • Children between 8 and 12 years, half-price ; under 8 years free. Full band in attendance and a spacious dancing platform provided on the Lawn. Trains will stop on the ground. No intoxicating drinks^allowed on the ground.
