By 12 o'clock the children . arrivad with thsir parents and friends, l and ot 10 o'clock luncheon, which - was kin Uy provided in great profusion ' by the ladies, was partaken of. After lunch operations commenced when ■ nearly all prosent had the honor of planting a tree. Tea was provided about half past four, after which everyoao went home feeling confident that a good clay's work had been done towards improving the aspect of the school grounds. The recently planted trees, and other improvements just affected by the Committee, give the grounds a brighter and more cheerful appearance. Others are to be made b in the near future, which shows that - the Committee are zealous in their • duties connected with school matters.
