Late Bishop Moran's Funeral.

(Per Press Association). Dunedin, May 29. Requiem Mass in connection with the funeral of Bishop Moran was celebrated at St. Joseph's Cathedral this morning. There was an immense congregation. The Requiem Mass was said by Bishop Grimes, while Archbishop Redwood delivered an eloquent sermon on the life of Bishop Moran. The funeral was very largely attended, and the streets along the line of march were lined with people. There were some thirty priests from various districts, besides Dr Grimes and Archbishop Redwood, in attendance. The Hon. Sir Patrick Buckley represented the Government. Members of both Houses were present, also Bishop Neville and a large number of Ministers of every denomination. Many wreaths were received from all parts of the colony. This Day. The Catholic clergy meet to-day to take the first steps for appointing a successor to Bishop Moran, deceased.
