Reports from Tokio state that Adinira Kabana has been appointed Viceroy, and has sailed for Formosa with a view to ob tain the formal transfer and take possession of the territory. London, May 12. The Times Paris correspondent states that the Powers are discussing the Chinese indemnity, which he belieyes to be fixed at £110,000,000. The correspondent will not be surprised if the total loan to repair tho war damages and restore tbe finances reaches £180,000,000. Paius, May 13. The Chinese Joan will probably be issued in equal shares in Germany, England, France and Russia. French financiers are in favour of a first issue of .£.30,000,000, and the balance at intervals to prevent swamping tbe market.
