"T^TOTICE is hereby given that it is J^j the intention of this Council, at a meeting to be held on SATURDAY, the 25th day of May, 1895, to levy a General Rate of three farthings in the £ on the whole of the rateable property as appearing on the Valuation Roll in force for the year ending 31st March, 1896. Also, that it is the intention of this Council to strike a Separate Rate of three farthings in the £ over the whole of the rateable property within the Apiti and Makino Ridings ; one halfpenny in the £ in the Hautapu Riding ; and one farthing in the £ iv the Oroua, Kimbolton, Waituna, and Ongo Hidings.
