NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of this Council, at a meeting to be held on SATURDAY, the 25th day of May, 1895, to levy a General Rate of three farthings in the £ on the whole of the rateable property as appearing on the Valuation Roll in force for the year ending 31st March, IS9G. Also, that it is the intention of this Council to strike a Separate Rate of three farthings in the £ over the whole of the rateable property within the Apiti and Makino Ridings ; one halfpenny in the £ in the Hautapu Riding ; and one farthing in the £ in tho Oroua, Kimbolton, Waituna, and Ongo Ridings. Both of the above rates to become payable in one sura on the 14th day of June, 1895. The Rate Book is now open for inspection at the Council Office, Feilding, during office hours. EDMD.
