NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order was adopted at a special meeting of this Council on Saturday, 20th April, and it is proposed to confirm the saire at a Special Meeting of the paid Kiwitea County Council (o be held on Saturday, 20th May, IS9;"> : — Propciskd Spixiai, Oki:i:k : That this Council, under the provisions of " The Loans to Local Bodies x\ct, IHSG," and under and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hands of His Excellency the Governor ol' New Zealand, dated the 21st day of June, IM9-1, authorising the Kiwitea County Council to construct a bridge over tho Kiwitea stream on Cheltenham Cross-road and apportioning the cost of the said bridge, borrow the sum of Mir,l 12s 3d for the purpose of providing two-thirds of the cost of erecting a Traffic Bridge over the Kiwitea Stream on Cheltenham Cross-road, aud making approaches thereto and all other work necessary for com - plction of said bridge, in accordancowith above-mentioned warrant, and that a Special Rate of l-100th of a penny in the i: be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native Lands excepted) within the Kiwitea County for the purpose of providing interest on above loan of £457 12s 3d, to be borrowed under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 188(3 " ; such rate to be annually recurring for 26 years, and payable in equal halfyearly instalments ou the first day of April and October iv each year.
