Hiwinni — Letter asking that the)chimnay be repaired, or rather re-built.—Be-solved that an estimate be obtained, and the matter left to the Executive. Petubertoo— Letter from teacher ask* ing for two dual desks and a supply of ink. — Granted. Bunny thorpe— Letter from tba headmaster, applying for house allowance.— Granted from the first of the year. Tainui — Letter pointing out the general disrepair of school and residence.—Referred to Mr Sanson. ' Fohangina— Notice from a set tier of intention to fence his section between his section and the Board's reserve.— Be* ferred to Mr Fry. Col y ton — Application for eight dual desks, and a tank for master's residence. — Resolved that the desks be supplied, and the matter of tank be referred'to Mr Fry. Notice of Motion — Mr Carson gave notice to move at the next meeting of the Board "That after (date to be fixed), the system of paying bonuses on teachers* certificates be abolished, and that salaries be paid according to the grade of the school." — Chronicle
