Christchurch, May 15 A ballot to decide the priority of appli cation for a number of Cheviot sections was held to day, when 36 sections were allotted and 11 remained undisposed of. There were 117 applicants. At the auction sale of township and suburban sec lions, '65 were sold for £875 10s. A run of 1645 acres, the upset price of which was £110, sold for £250
