THE LONGBURN SLAUGHTERING AND FREEZING COMPANY, Limited. IVTOTICE is hereby given that an J^l Extraordinary General Meeting of the Longburn Slaughtering and Freezing Company, Ltd., will be held at the Theatre Royal, Palmerston N., on THURSDAY, the thirtieth clay of November, 1893, at the hour of two o'clock in the afternoon, when the following resolution will be proposed : — " That the Articles of Association be altered in manner following " : — After Article 30 of the Company the following new Article — Tho Company may from time to time, reduce the Capital or sub-divide and consolidate Shares in the manner and with all or any of the incidents prescribed or allowed by 'Tho Companies Act, 1882,' or any amendments thereof." In Article No. 53, the word " seven " in the first line and tho word " four " in the second line thereof shall be respectively struck out, and the words "five" .and "three" inserted in lieu thereof in the same order. In sub-section (</) of Article No. 62, the words " for the sale of live stock thereto or" shall be inserted after the word " except " in the third line thereof, and the following proviso shall be added to the subsection, that is to say : " provided always that a separate account of all live stock sold by or purchased from any Director shall be kept in the books by the Com pany showing, inter alia, the result of the subsequent dealing with the said stock of the Company, and particularly what profit or loss has been made on such purchase, and such accounts shall bo at all times open to the inspection of Shareholders without payment of fee." Should the resolution be passed by the required majority, it will be submitted for coniirmation, as a special resolution, to a Second Extraordinary Meeting, which, in the absence of further notice, will be held on the sixteenth day of December, 1893, immediately after the General Meeting, which will be held at the same hour and place. NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership hitherto existing between us, the undersigned Benjamin Le Prou and William Joseph Condor, in the business of Blacksmiths, carried on by us at Birmingham and Pemberton, under the style or firm of " Lc Prou and Conder," has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, and the business will be henceforth carried on by the said William Joseph Conder at Birmingham only, who alone will pay and discharge all debts and liabilities and receive all money payable to the said late firm.
