It is feared a general strike of miners will shortly take place. Brisbane, March 8. A serious disturbance took place yesterday at Olermdnt. Several members of the Fastoralist Executive arrived without previously informing the police and over 200 mounted Unionists attacked them. Sergt. Don n ell endeavoured to protect them and succeeded in keeping the rioters at -bay until the carriage escaped down a narrow lane, but he was severely wounded in the head by a stone. This Day.
