THE SPOUTS GROUND.

■•■ . TO THE EDITOB OF THE PEILDtNG STAE. Sib, — Kindly allow me through your columns to suggest to the Sports Committee the advisableness of rolling the oval as it is very rough ; in fact, too rough for a bycicle race. The course is all in holes, as though horses had run on it when the ground was very soft. A local ped. training on Saturday evening, said he was afraid of spraining his ankle while running round. Hoping to see a roller doing duty. — I am, etc., Byciclisi.
