COUNCIL MEETING.
The Council met after the adjournment of the general meeting, ahd decided' the Secretary hire the hall for the 18th August, and also procure a band for the occasion. — That a sub-committee, consisting of the Secretary, Vols Roe ahd Fowles, be appointed to carry out the business for the ball.— That the price for tickets should te as follow? : — Vol- • unteers in uniform, and one lady, 7s 6d ; i private gentlemen and one lady, 10s 6d; 1 extra lady, 3s 6d. ' The Council then adjourned.
