THE ST. JAMES CLUB ANNUAL MEETING HELD Tiiere was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the SI. •lames Tennis Club. the president. Mr A. Schlaepfer, presiding'. It was reported that tlie financial position was sound and that, prospects for a successful season were bright. The following officers were elected: Patron. Rev. F. E. 11. Paton; president, Mr A. Sohlaepfer: vice-presidents, Messrs 0. C. Noble and .T. Woolford: secretary and treasurer,, pvo tein, Mr A. Fausett: auditor, Mr G. G. Noble; club captain. Mr N. Storey: vice-cap-tain. Mr A. Fausett: committee, Mrs T. Keven, .jnr., Mrs W. Pleydell, Mrs L. Trotter. Miss A. Scott, Miss N. Perkins, Miss G. Shotbolt. Messrs Noble, Storey and P. J. Field: delegates to Franklin Association. Messrs A. Schlaepfer and A. Fausett. Subscriptions were fixed as folows: Men. £1 1.0 s: women. £l. and juniors :12s Gd. The opening dale will be fixed later and advertised.
