FOOTBALLER INJURED
PAPAKURA LEAGUE PLAYER While playing for the Papakura Rugby League Club last Saturday, Len Cooke suffered a painful injury when lie received a kick in Ihe face which fractured his jaw. He was taken to hospital in Auckland for treatment and has now returned home and is making good progress. He is one of the club's best players and has kicked many goals for his learn. It is doubtful if In' will play again Ibis season. lie is employed by Mrs B. M. Kniglil. butcher, of Great South Road, Papakura. *
