STORE CATTLE MARKET FIRM fair held at TFAKAU Dalgety and Company report that at their annual cattle fair at Tuakau 750 head of run cattle were yarded. Competition was very keen and the total offering was disposed of under the hammer at values firmer than recent sales. Quotations are: —Three-year Polled Angus and Hereford steers, £ll to £ll 9s: three-year Polled Angus. £lO /is to £ll :11s: three-year Hereford, £ll 7s Od: two-year Polled Angus, £8 5s to £9 12s: Iwo-year Hereford. £8 to £8 8s: yearling Polled Angus, £5 9s to £7 15s; yearling Hereford, £f> 3s to £7: two-year Polled Angus heifers, £5 Ifis to £7 Is; yearling, £3 2s to £5; yearling Polled Angus and Hereford. £7 Os; empty Polled Angus and Hereford cows, £0 2s to £7; two-year Polled Hereford bulls, £ls 15s: potter bulls, £8 to £ll 11s.
