FLIGHT-LIEUTENANT ERIC BEST HIS BRIDE AN ENGLISH GIBB Mr and Mrs A. Best, of Bombay have received advice from England that their fifth son. Flight-Lieutenant Eric V. Best... was married recently to Miss Daphne Jean Staughton, of St. Ives, near Cambridge. England. The best man was Flight Lieutenant Keitii Larney, D.F.G., of Hamilton, who lef! New Zealand with the bridegroo' i. Other airmen present were Flying Officer Hoy Scot I. of Wellington, and Flying Officer Rolph-Smith. ot Auckland, who accompanied Flight Lieutenant Best lo England, Sul) Lieutenant r. Shaw, Fleet Air Arm, of Ararimu, a fermer school mate, and Sergeant, Gunner Jim Harris, of Bombay, also a school mate of Flight Lieutenant Best, who was killed on Thursday last. The six airmen had a reunion on the morn ing of the wedding.
