Girls’ Band to Visit Papakura. It was reported to the Papakura Borough Council on Monday that the Akarana Girls' Band will he in Papakura in connection with the Anzoc Day celebrations. League Football at Prince Edward Park The Papakura Rugby League Club was granted the use of Prince Edward Park for the coming football season at a rental of £lO by the Papakura Borough Council at Monday’s meeting. Population Increased. It was reported at Monday’s meeting of the Papakura Borough Council that the population of the borough had shown an increase during the past year. At February 28 the population was estimated at 1020. Last year it was assessed at 1850.
