WORKS CARRIED OUT NEW SUED AT PARK The borough foreman, Mr M. Finn, reported to the last council meeting that the side roads had had attention from the grader. With regard to faulty lights an electrician advised that the trouble was caused by vibration and the other by dampness in the switches.

General maintainanee of roads and footpaths had been rather neglected as the staff had had a large programme of work to attend to and proper attention had been impossible lately.
