ABOARD THE SPEE — Radio picture flashed from Buenos Aires shows how shells smashed plane on upper deck catapult of the Nazi battleship Admiral Graf Spee, before British cruisers drove it into Montevideo harbor. Tail and motor of plane have been clipped off. Thirty-six were killed and 60 were wounded aboard ship in spectacular 14-hour battle.
