RECREATIOM IN AMERICA One of Ihe most significant developments in 'recreation in America has been Ihe increase in popularity of cycle louring. Bicycle sales have mounted into astonishingly high figures in the States and cities are setting aside bicycle trails in their parks. It is interesting, therefore, to note a growing interest in cycle touring in New Zealand. The Recreation Officers of the Physical Welfare and Recreation Branch have found a readyresponse to their efforts lo interest girls in this sport.
