Evading Restrictions.
Disliking the prospect of having only eight gallons of petrol a month on which to run his car, a Christchurch motorist found an inexpensive method of increasing his supply, For the modest sum of £1 he bought an ancient car, registered and complete with a warrant of fitness, and of a rating entitling its owner to 12 gallons a month. The astute motorist now has 20 gallons a month at his disposal.
