TRAINING HALL ACQUIRED FITTING HP AS GYMNASIUM The Papakura Rugby League Club has exhibited another step in their pro- ; gressive policy by taking over the j scouts hall tor training purposes. It 'is to be fitted up immediately as a ■ gymnasium. The officers controlling . Hus new venture are: Mr A. Lewis j (chairman), Mr W. Turner (secretary land treasurer), Messrs F. Osborne, D. ! Topp, F. Fogarty, R. Kemp and A. j Scbwart/J'er (committee). The ball will have some useful ' cquipmy*! including overhanging rings. | wrestling ring, vaulting horse, etc. ' The club lias bad expert advice from 11,0 Athletic Conin' in Auckland, and a qualified .instructor will be in altondi mice al the start of training which will bee in very shortly. The training will he open for all members from hoys jie seniors. The club is to be comI p’imenled on hiking Ibis slop, the good effects of which it is expected will he seen early next season.
