MANUKAU UNION GAIVSES DRURY AND CLEYEDON TWO WINS EACH Playing in the Manukau Rugby Union championships on Saturday, Drury and Glevedon were successful in both divisions. Drury seniors beat Papakura IP to P. at Massey Park, Papakura. Drury’s scores coming from dies scored by D. Moult. D. Foote. R. Aitkenbead and Glasgow. Sarplin converted two and kicked a penalty goal. Papakura’s points came from a try and penalty kick by J. Dunn and a penally goal by -T. Pickard. Glevedon scored a decisive victory over Manurewa at .lellicoe Park, the game finishing 20 to 6. For Clevedon tries were scored by L. and D. Halsey. Baiuger and Lon Alexander. Ross Dow kicked a field goal and W. Alexander converted Iwo tries. Manure wa's points rafne from Tapperies a Iry and Harnett a penally goal. Hayes played an outstanding game in Hie forwards: Gibbs and Roberts also did good work and were prominent throughout.
Karaka beat Kingseat by IS to Drurv lieat Manurewa in Itie juuioi grade by two points, the-game running out, B—o. Glevedon, against Karaka. piled up the big score of 31 points against their opponents’ three.
