The Board has decided to continue to issue to Relief Recipients, Grocery Orders usable at any shop of an “APPROVED SUPPLIER” that the Recipient may nominate from time to time; the price to be charged being not more than the ruling cash price at the particular shop where the Order is negotiated. No person or firms will be permitted to supply groceries to Relief Recipients until they have been appointed an “Approved Supplier” dnd the Board will not be responsible for payment if goods are supplied by any other person or firm. If you wish to be included on the “APPROVED LIST OF SUPPLIERS OF GROCERIES TO RELIEF RECIPIENTS” you should apply immediately for full particulars and forms of Application and Contract, to the Secretary, Auckland Hospital Board, Kitchener Street, Auckland, C.l. NOTE: Forms of application duly completed, and endorsed on the envelope “Approved Suppliers Application” must be lodged with the Secretary, at the above address; on or before 12 o’clock noon on Monday, 27th March, 1939.
