AIONTHLY MEETING HELD The monthly meeting of -the Whangarata Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union took place on Tuesday, Airs Ward presiding over a good attendance. Arrangements were finalised for the division birthday to be held on September 23. A competition, the best Christmas, gift, was won by Miss Ryan, with Airs F. Walker second. In the flower competition, Mrs J. Fulton was first and Airs R. Ewing second. The hostesses for the function were Airs F. Pollard and Mrs A. Smeed.
