STRAYING CATTLE
PAPAKURA’S MENACE. Straying cattle are again becoming a nuisance in Papakura. On Saturday morning a young Jersey hull, locally owned, was found grazing in the Presbyterian cemetery, and a week before that another young hull was seen roaming round the Papakura streets. The cemetery occurrence is exceedingly serious* as much damage could he soon done there in a very short time.'
The responsible authorities should take drastic action against the owners of straying stock.
