FLOODLIGHTING SCHEME
“The lights sold themselves to us,” said Mr H. E. McEntee at the town board meeting last week, when referring to the two floodlights which were successfully tried out on Prince Edward park on two evenings recently. The chairman, continuing, said the lights were very satisfactory and the effect at night was beyond their expectations. The only question that was troubling the board was whether the agents could satisfy them that spare parts could be easily and quickly procured. After discussion it was decided to purchase the two lights on condition the agents could satisfy the board as to replacements. The cost was staled to be about £9O.
