COMING-OF-AGE PARTY
MR R. BLANCH ENTERTAINED.
A delightful gathering took place on Saturday evening in the Broadway younge, when a 21st birthday party was given in honour of Mr Roy Blanch, son of Mr and Mrs 11. Blanch of Opahelce. Mr A. Cossey proposed the health of the guest of honour and Mr A. W. Mclvor of Drury, presented the numerous gifts and the key of the house to the guest.
Among those present were: Mrs H. Blanch, navy blue crepe de chine; Mrs Wallis, navy crepe de chine; Mrs Herbert, blue marocain; Mrs A. J. Cossey, navy satin; Mrs A. W. Mclvor, nigger brown taffeta: Mrs M. Cossey (Kaulcapakapa), gold taffela: Mrs E. Burgess (Auckland), coronation blue taffetas; Mrs R. 11. Lever, black marocain; Mrs Bell, navy crepe silk; Mrs C. Ross, marina georgette; Miss R. Wallis, duck egg blue taffeta; Miss J. Herbert, pink lace; Miss R. Fausett, blue georgette; Miss J. Fausett. apple green floral silk; Miss V. Cossey, pink organdie; .Miss K. Hatrick, lemon crepe de chine: Miss M. Wallis, black velvet: Miss J. Hatrick, white crepe de chine: Miss P. Bundle, cream silk: Miss Filiner, blue and gold taffetas.
