PAPAKURA SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Limited, held its regular sale at Papakura on Tuesday. There was a very fair yarding of all classes of cattle. Good dairy sorts sold freely but backward lots were nol -n demand. Prices realised were
as follow: Best springing dairy cows and heifers. £6 10s to £7 15s; others, £5 to £6 r»s: backward, £3 10s to £'» lbs: cows in milk, £3 to £G 10s, according to quality; yearling to 18-month-old steers, mixed colours, £3 to £'; 7s: three-year-old steers, Hereford and Shorthorn, to £7 13s Gd; fat steers, to £0 lbs: fat cows to £b 7s Go; boner cows, £1 10s to £3 bs; potter bulls. £3 to £8 10s, according to weight: vveaner heifers, £1 13s to £2 7s; cows with calf at foot, £3 to £b the pair; wearier pigs, bs Gd to 13s. A quantity of farm utensils sold at ruling rates; hardwood gates sold at 27s Gd, and totara posts at 3s.
