i| PAPAKURA CLUB’S PICNIC. || AN ENJOYABLE OUTING. Fleets of motor lorries conveyed || nearly 500 supporters of the Papakura H Rugby League Club, including many children, to Mr N. J. Sutherland’s farm at Clevedon south during the weekend. Fine weather conditions prevailed and a most successful picnic . resulted. A bountiful supply of ie-a cream and sweets for the children, > were provided by the committee. Hot water and milk were also supplied. At the conclusion of the sports the president, Mr H. A. Pollock, presented = the prizes including the silver cup donated by Mr Les McVeagh, for the club championship, which was won by R Burgess. He congratulated the , committee on the splendid arrangements made, and the success of the , picnic.
