PAPAKURA WINS. POINT CHEVALIER DEFEATED. Results at a glance: — Senior : Papakura 10, Pt. Chevalier 8. Fifth grain: Richmond B 14, Papakura 2. SENIOR B. Papakura met and defeated Point Chevalier on the Ellerslie ground on Saturday by 10 points to 8. The ground was .soft and them were showers during the game and a strong wind blew the length of the field. However, mistakes were expensive only one try being scored. This was registered by Ross in following up a kick over Point’s line. The goal by P»pe which converted it was taken five yards from the sideline and was well merited.

Changing over, al try was scored by Neil when a Point player mis-kicked behind his goal line. This Pope converted again from well out, making the score, Papakura 10, Point 0. Point then pressed and aided by the strong wind confined play tc Papakura’s territory. A goal from a penalty and then two unconverted tries gave them 8 points. A shot at goal from in front of the posts which would have made the honours even, fortunatly for Papakura missed, and the game ended with Papakura 10, Point 8.
