TOP SCORE ON SATURDAY NICELY COMPILED 87. P. A. HICKLING GETS 75. The Pukekohe Cricket Association’s competition was continued on Saturday in beautiful weather. With outfields becoming faster the scores are getting larger each playing day. On Saturday several batsmen showed splendid form, tw6 in particular, D. Hawke and P. A. Hickling, getting among the runs. The former was in good form against bowling that was not at all difficult, and he showed no mercy for short-pitched balls, scoring freely on the leg with beautiful hooks. He gave one or two chances.
