POSTPONED MATCH. ST. JAMES’ BEAT ONEWHERO. Postponed from the previous Saturday, the inter-club match between St. James’ and Onewhero (A grade, group II), in the Franklin Lawn Tennis Association competition was decided on Saturday, St. James’ winning by eight sets to two. Details are, St. James’ names first’:—
Men’s singles: T. Fausett beat Ray Glasgow, 11 —0; A. Fausett beat W. Ingram, 11—8. Ladies’ singles: Miss R. Lawrie lost to Mrs Elhvood, B—9; Miss A. Scott beat Miss Reals, 9 —4. Ladies’ doubles: Misses Lawrie and Scott beat Mrs Ellwood and Miss Reals, 9 —6; Mrs Young and Miss Ferguson beat Misses Henderson and Glasgow, 9 —3. Men’s doubles: T. and A. Fausett heat Ray Glasgow' and W. Ingram, 11—8; I. Fausett and G. Perry lost to J. Hira and R. J. Glasgow, 7 —ll. Combined doubles: I. Fausett and Mrs Young beat .T. Ilira and Miss Henderson, 9—B; G. Perry and Miss Ferguson beat R. J. Glasgow' and Miss Glasgow, 9— i.
