THE PUKEKOHE CLUB. BROSNAHAN SPOONS COAIPETiTION The Brosnahan spoons competitions wore commenced on the Pukekohe Golf Club s links on Saturday. Some good cards were returned by both men and bodies, the course being in excellent condition. Eight players were to qualify in each division. The best cards were returned by Hie following: Aren: G. PLAY AT ONEWHERO. The semi-final of the Afar tin trophy competition was played by members of the Onewbero club on Saturday. Caldwell (8) beat Wilson (10). 3 and 2: Glasgow (27) beat Taylor (18), 2 up. A modal round was won by Glasgow. 92—22—70. Other good cards were: Caldwell. 78— 6—72 ; Walton. 92 —19—73: Tavior. 93—15 —7B. in lu's round of 78 Caldwell lowered the course record of 79. which be had previously established himself - THE -GAEV2E AT WASUKU. Members of the Waiuku Club played Hie first 18 holes of a 36-holes medal handicap match on Saturday. The best cards were:—-A. Further rounds of the club championships were, played. Results are: Tnlermediate, Morrison boaf J'erram. 2 and 1. Morrison now meets Herr old in the final. Junior: Hamilton Imal. New Hi, 3 and 1: Barker beat Kidd. 7 and 3. Hamilton and Barker now play in the final.
