PERSONAL.
The death occurred in a private hospital in Auckland on Saturday morning, after a short illness, of Mr William Clement Cargill, who with Mr R. J. Karnes, founded the Pukekohe Times (now the Franklin Times) in 1011. Mr Cargill, who was manag-ing-director of the Cargill Publishing Company, which published the Morrinsville Star, Matarnata Record and Putaruru Press, has been a resident of- Morrinsville for the past 1G years. Mr Cargill was G 3 years of age.
