CROQUET NOTES.
ONEWHERO CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING HELD. ; At the annual meeting of the whero Croquet Club held last week, the season y operations were reviewed and the play reported on by the secretary. Officers elected were: President, Mrs H. Pellow; vice-president, Mrs G. A. Gutry; secretary, Mrs F. G. Marshall (re-elected) ; committee, Mesdames Bates and J. Cathcart. A vote of thanks was accorded the retiring officers for work done, during the season. THE TUAKAU CLUB. A SUCCESSFUL SEASON. The president, Mrs Dynes Fulton, presided at the annual meeting of the TuaKau Croquet Lduu, and reported on the past year s operatiuns. Teams nad uijb.cn part in cue South Suburban Association A and B grade competitions. The rose bowl was won by Mis .j. Logan; the button by Mrs F. G, Woolley; tiie star by Mrs H. C. Foster; Mrs Woolley s trophy by Mrs W. A, Smeed; the A grade trophy by Mrs. \\ooiiey, and the B grade by Mrs Smeed, senior. A small credit balance was shown. The following officers were elected; Patron, Mrs Smeed, senior; presidents Mrs Fulton i,re-elected) ; vice-presi-dent, Mesdames J. Logan, E. W. Field-. or and Lewis; secretary, Mrs H. E v Pendergrast; committee, Mesdames 1. Fulton, J. R. Lowi'y, Smeed, Fielder,. Woolley, Logan, H, J. Woodbridge and J. Pirret.
