Great interest was taken in the Papakura Anglican Tennis Club's match with Takanini Kingfisher Tennis Club and resulted as follow, Anglican names first: —
Ladies' doubles: Misses Muir and Wood lost to Mrs Martin and Miss Ferguson, 3 —9; Misses Derbyshire and Kinlock beat Mrs Lawless and Miss Kinlock, 11—9; Misses Turner and Beams lost to Mrs Martin and Miss Mclnnes, 3—9.
Men's doubles: W E. Rodgers and E. Kinlock beat Martin and Beams, 11—7: F. Johns and C. Ross b'ekt Brennan and Baguley, 9 —4; L. James and P. Hogan lost to Martin and Dempscy, B—9.
Combined doubles: Miss Muir and Rodgers beat Mrs Martin and Martin, 9—6: Miss Wood and Kinlock lost to Miss Ferguson and Beams, B—9:8 —9: Miss Derbyshire and Johns beat Miss Kinlock and Brennan, 9—3; Miss KTnlock and Ross lost to Mrs Lawless and Baguley, B—9: Miss Turner and James lost to Miss Mclnnes and Dempsey, 7 —9: Miss Beams and Hogan beat Mrs Martin and Martin, 9—B.
