INTER-SCHOOL MATCH.

HIGH SCHOOL BEATS ST. STEPHEN'S

A cricket match was played last week between the Pukekohe Technical High School and St. Steplien's School elevens, and resulted in a win for Pukekohe.

Baiting first, St. Stephen's made 63 (Sara 28). Bowling for Pukekohe Passau took four wickets, Lawrie four and Blake one. Pukekohe replied with 154 (Smyth 36, Passau 30, Blake 23 (retired) and Russell

18). St. Stephen's in their second innings had lost three wickets for 69 runs. MAUKU v. WAIAU PA. A FRIENDLY MATCH. A friendly cricket match between teams from Mauku and Waiau Pa was played at Mauku on Wednesday and resulted in a win for the home team by 13 runs on the first innings.
