CROQUET NOTES.
SOUTH SUBURBAN ASSOCIATION. PUKEKOHE AND WAIUKU LEAD. The finals of (lie Auckland South Suburban Croquet Association's tournament were played at Papakura last week, Mesdames Graham and C. C. Munro (Clcvedon) defeating Mesdames Forbes and Coxhead (Manurewa), after an evenly-contested game. At the conclusion of play Miss M. Cooper, vice-president of the association, presented the trophies lo the winners and runners-up, and referred to the splendid spirit in which the tournament had been played. The secretary. Mrs B. Forbes, was presented with a dainty sweets dish in token of appreciation of her efforts in organising the tournament. * A vol." of thanks was accorded the Papakura Croquet Glut) for permitting Hie use of its lawns. CLUB COMPETITIONS. Details of the latter rounds, together with the season aggregates, are as follows: —Tuakau 124, beat Pukekohe. 119; Buckland, 150, beat Clevedon. 107: Manurewa, 202, beat Waiuku. 134. Aggregates for the season are as follow: — A grade. —Pukekohe, 1534 points; } Tan ur e wa. 1377: Bu ckland, 1353; Waiuku, 13:14; Clevedon, 1105; Tuakau. 1034. B grade. —Waiuku. 564 : Pukekohe, 4 53: Buckland, 3GS; Tuakau, 306.
