THE FRANKLIN ASSOCIATION. PpSTPONED GAMES COMPLETED

Owing to rain on Saturday, December 3, several games in the Franklin Lawn Tennis Association's competitions were postponed. These games were completed on Saturday last, results being as follow: — A GRADE.—GROUP I. St. James v. Otaua, St. James' names being mentioned first:— Men's singles: T. Fausett lost to B. Keary, 5—11; A. Fausett beat W. McNamara, 11-—5. Ladies' singles: Miss R. Lawrie lost to Miss Barriball, B—9;8 —9; Miss A. Scott lost to Miss Hull, B—9. Ladies' doubles: Misses Lawrie and Scott beat Misses Barriball and Hull, 9—7; Mrs Shotbolt and Mrs Young lost to Misses Neil and McDonald, 7—9. Men's "doubles: Fausett and Fausett lost to Keary and McNamara, 6—11; I. Fausett and G. Perry beat Jonathan and Cairns, 11 —9. Combined doubles: I. Fausett and Mrs Shotbolt lost to Jonathan and Miss Neil, 3—9; Perry and Mrs Young beat Cairns and Miss McDonald, 9—7. Otaua won by 6 sets to 4. Other results are:—

Tuakau defeated Pokeno in A grade, group 11, by six sets to four. Two matches were played in the TuakauTuakau Domain contest, leaving Domain the winner by eight sets to two.
