Miss N. Lindberg is spending holidays with her parents, Mr and Mrs V. Lindberg, of Pukekawa.
Mr and Mrs F. N. R. Downard left Tuakau on Wednesday evening for their new home at Mataura, Southland.
Mrs J. Martin, of Putaruru, and Miss E. Martin, of Puewhenua, are the quests of Mr and Mrs G. L. Martin, of Pukekawa.
Mr 11. E. Pendergrast, first assistant at the Ellerslie school, has been appointed headmaster of the Tuakau school.
The many friends of Miss Bryant, of Waipipi, who has been an inmate of the 'Aotea" private hospital, Otahuhu, for three weeks, will be pleased to know that she is returning home this x week after convalescing at and Manurewa.
