PERSONAL.
Mr E. G. Foster, of Pukekohe, was admitted as a barrister of the Supreme Court on Thursday, on the motion of Air C. O. Mahonv.
Advice has been received by cable, that Mrs C. H. Jackson, of Auckland, daughter of Mr and Mrs S. McNally, ot Pukekohe, who left last month for the East to join her husband, arrived at Singapore on Friday after a very pleasant voyage. A motion of sympathy with the relatives ol the late Mr A. Hanna, formerly solicitor to the Franklin County Council, was passed at to-day’s meeting. The chairman, Mr J. N. Massey, M.P., arm the senior member, Cr. h! Wilcox, each refered to the good service given to the council by the deceased.
