A SOCIAL AFTERNOON
BRIDE-TO-BE HONOURED
Ivanhoe, Bombay, the residence of Mrs J. Henderson, was tlie scene of a verv enjoyable social function on Saturclav afternoon, when Miss Myrtle Wootten, who is to he married next week, was the guest. About 30 ladies of Bombay and sur rounding district were present and all spent a pleasant afternoon, items were giveii by Mrs Petersen, of Paparata and Miss Mary Ingram, and a pianoforte solo by Miss Holmes. Mrs Henderson provided a aaimy afternoon tea which greatly enhanced the success of the gathering. The bride-to-be was the recipient ot a vide range of beautiful presents for which she expressed her deepest thanks. .
