A passing reference to the number of war hooks being written was made by Major-General Sir George Richardson at the reunion of ex-servicemen a l Tuakau on Wednesday evening. Sir George said many of these books conImuni a certain amount of filth, ana cast aspersions on soldiers. “Don’t let people think their stories represent your lives,” was the general’s advice.
