Act 1925” Notice is hereby given That • : pursuant to the powers and authorities vested in it under Sections 77,.82, i 88, 89 and 95 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, Sections 51. 53 and 54 of the Rating Act 1925, Section 21 of the Local Bodies Loans Act 1926, and Section 52 of the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act 1926, amendments thereof and any other power or authority it enabling in that behalf, it is the intention of the Pukekohe Borough Council at the Ordinary meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, Pukekohe, at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, July 28th, 1930. to strike and levy the following rates for the period from April Ist, 1930, to March 31 si. 1931. 1. A consolidated Borough Rate of two and three fourths pence (23d) in the £ on the capital value of all rateable property in the Borough of Pukekohe, such rate being in lieu of the following:—General Hate of 1 and 7/32nd pence, in the £. Separate Hospital Rate of 5/16d in the £. Separate Street Lighting Rata* of 5/32d in the £. Special New Borough Loan Rate of 1 and 1/1 Gd in the £. 2. A Special Town Board District Loan Rate of J /16d in the £ on the capital value of all rateable property in the Pukekohe Town Boai*d area. 3. A Separate Water Rate in respect of Ordinary Supply to lands and dwelling houses as under: —(a) Where the annual value does not exceed* £l2/10/-, a rate of 10/-. (b) Where the annual value does exceed £l2/10/a rate of five per centum (5 per cent) on such annual value. (c) One half such rate on buildings other than dwelling houses and on lands and buildings to which water can be but is not supplied situated .within 100 yards of any part of the waterworks, (d) A rent of 10/- per annum for . each water meter. ( 4. A uniform annual fee of .12/;per tin for removal of rubbish on all premises in the nigh I soil removal area. 5. A uniform annual fee of £l/12/6 per pan for the removal of J niglitsoil within Iho nfghtsnil removal area. NOTICE is given furllier that the above Rates are due and payable in one sun; at .the.
