Mrs Richard Kemp, of : King Edward Street, underwent an operation in the Auckland hospital on Friday and is progressing favourably. Mr M. Cooney. of Beach Road, received painful gashes in. one of his hands, while working a circular saw last week. Miss Margaret Porter, of Auckland, was a visitor to Mr an Mrs H. C. Baulf, Green Street, Papakura. ■ during the week-end. •
Mr Fred Pike, a former Papakura businessman, was a visitor to Papakura during' the week-end. Miss Venie Legg. eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs L. W. Legg, Runciman. is at present on a visit to Mr and Mrs J. Loper, Devohporl.
